Located on the 'corner' of Rincon where the Atlantic meets the Caribbean - the winter currents create waves off Domes Beach, Indicator, Maria's Beach and Steps Beach that will take your breath away from October to March. In the winter, take in the action from Lighthouse Park or head over to Steps Beach - a favorite for snorkelers when the waves die down.

The 'Puntas' neighborhood of Rincon, is also known as the "North Coast" or the "Surfing Coast". The beaches of the "Puntas" section of Rincon are where you'll find a traditional 'beach community' with a heavy surfing influence and an informal mix of small hotels, cottages, apartments and private houses among beach bars, restaurants, water sports and beachside activities. You'll find great surfing during the winter months when the surf is up. Parasailing and sailing add to the fun all year!

Rincon's Downtown is the 'heart' of the town. You'll want to make sure and visit our newly restored 'Plaza Central' - especially at night when you'll find several nice restaurants along the traditional town square in front of the church. You'll also find a great Public Beach and park that are great for swimming and beachside picnics. The nearby Black Eagle Marina host all types of water sports and beach activities as well as a number of Rincon's most popular restaurants.
